On Thursday (July 10), the Sacramento band confirmed that their first album in five years will be released on August 22 via Reprise/Warner Records – you can pre-order/pre-save it here.
Now, they have added a slew of UK and European dates to accompany the record. They will kick off the tour in Paris’ Adidas Arena on January 29, before taking in Brussels, Hamburg, Munich, Lodz, Berlin, Dortmund, Stuttgart and Amsterdam.
After that, they land in the UK on February 12 with a show in Birmingham’s BP Pulse Live, followed by Glasgow, Manchester, Dublin and Cardiff. They round off the tour with a huge show at London’s The O2 on February 20.
Deftones will be joined by Denzel Curry and Drug Church at all of the dates.

The new album has been previewed with the lead single ‘my mind is a mountain’, which you can listen to above, and it has been co-produced by Nick Raskulinecz (Alice In Chains, Foo Fighters) – who also worked on 2010’s ‘Diamond Eyes’ and 2012’s ‘Koi No Yoka’.
The same day the record drops, Deftones will kick off a leg of their North American tour dates in Vancouver, with their upcoming headline tour seeing them joined by Phantogram, IDLES and Barbarians of California on select dates.
The past two years have seen Chino Moreno and co steadily tease that a new record was on the way, marking the follow-up to 2020’s ‘Ohms’.
In September 2023, for instance, the band teased an upcoming full-length album and suggested that it was due to arrive in 2024, although this never materialised.
Then, in spring 2024, they then shared another update on their new LP and said that they were adding the final touches to the recording. “[We] have a whole record recorded all musically,” Moreno said. “And it’s pretty much my job right now to finish up the vocals… We’re not really in a rush. We want it to be great. I think that’s most important. But it is coming, and, yeah – it’s really good.”
