Inspite of the tremendeous heat that day, the show was phenomenal.
It is true that the band is in great shape, and they' ve portraid it
during the one hour and fourty minutes of mind blowing entertainment.
The small venue was another thing that contributed to the atmosphere,
as the crowd was packed.
I hope that they will visit Croatia again, soon.
Respect!
Sasa Martisek.

Holy shit, this was one trip worth taking!
It took me and a friend about seven hours to get to Zagreb by train (from Belgrade in neighboring Serbia),
and because of some delays and malfunctions it took us more than nine hours to get back home, we barely
found a place to stay for the night in Zagreb after the concert, but hell yes, it was worth it. And much more than that.
I can't give you the exact setlist. I was too psyched to pay attention to the exact order of the songs.
What I do know is that they opened the show with Passenger (which was a total surprise for me), and the
set ended a bit more than an hour and a half later with 7 Words (the full and regular version, there was nothing
missing and nothing played in the mid part of the song). Looking at the track lists on the albums, I can tell you
that they played Bored, Nosebleed, Engine No. 9, My Own Summer, Around The Fur, BQAD (Far Away), Headup,
Feiticeira, RX Queen, Knife Party, Korea, Change (In The House Of Flies), Hexagram, Minerva, Bloody Cape,
If Only Tonight We Could Sleep and Beware Of The Water, but like I said, I forgot the exact order of the songs.
The show itself was amazing. Simply amazing. Not to offend anyone, but just from listening - most of the songs
sounded even better live than on the albums. I really don't know how to express myself here, I was simply blown
away by how good Deftones sounded live. I never had the chance to see them before, had listened or watched a
bunch of live recordings, but it didn't even give a hint to how awesome they could be on stage. Chino sang his stuff
perfectly (and not even all the bugs he complained about swallowing throughout the show (it was an outdoor venue,
near the river) could do anything to change that; ok, maybe they added to the flavor, strictly speaking), and he either
lost some weight since Rock Am Ring, or the TV made him look bigger, because the footage of him from that festival
made him look a lot bigger =) The rest of the band was also flawless, but seemed totally relaxed on stage.
The songs... Well, I could on and on about how each single song sounded tight and how they all hit me in their
different ways, but if I had to choose one special song from the set, it would have to be RX Queen. It made me start
thinking of the fastest way to get back home to my girlfriend, I'll just put it that way.
But to do the Deftones justice, all the songs, with their different meanings and grooves, were amazing.
I loved how Abe was beating (as if he had a personal issue with them) his drums on Hexagram, how the Chino's and
Stephen's guitars worked together perfectly on Minerva and a few other songs, how crazy Knife Party sounded with a
few girls in the crowd near where I was started doing Rodleen's bit in the middle of the song (I very much doubt the guys
on stage could hear it, but their singing was dead on!), how BQAD got us all jumping up and down, and ...
Like I said, I could go on and on.
Oh, and by the way, I can't wait for the new album. If Beware Of The Water is just a taste of it, it's gonna blow people away, I'm sure.
As for me, I'm so so happy to have had the chance to see Deftones. I hope they come back and do a show
anywhere near to where I live, I'll sure do what it takes to get there again.
Peace,
Lazar

This was our first Deftones show and their first time in Zagreb, Croatia. Ihave the to say that my
Friends and I walked for 45 minutes on 35 degrees celsius because we couldn't find the place.
when we were very close we could hear RX QUEEN when they were having soundcheck and we
were like: "Rx queen? They never play Rx Queen!?" we finally got there,
it was 18:30 and we were waiting for about 2 hours and then we saw Frank walking on the stage and t
he crowd went crazy. he started playing and the rest of the guys cape up and they were all smiling,
especially Chi, took their instruments and then shock! They opened the show with PASSENGER!
We were all happy beacause of that! the crowd was great and they seemed to have a lot of fun on stage.
Chino went down in the crowd on Hexagram and it was crazy! one interesting thing happend. we could
all feel the same smell and yes, it was "the herb". Chino felt it too and he saw one guy in first row smoking
it and he said: "Well, well... What do we have here, give that to Stef, I know he'd like it!".
So the guy gave it to Stef, he puffed a little and took his guitar back on and continued the show.
Chino also ate a couple of flies, hahaha!
And they really played Rx queen!
Here is the setlist but some of them are not i right order:

Hello, my name is Denis and i'm from Slovenia...
I went to neighbour country Croatia to see my favourit band on tueday this week :)
The concert begin at exactly 8.30 pm on the outdoor floor of club named Mochvara
(that means Swamp) ...the first song was Passenger what really suprised me, couse
it's one of mine favourite songs...the sound was maybe too quiet at the begining but they
fixed that soon, so it sounded great to me...i was in the first row, so i could make nice pictures
and see my idols from really close :D
The crowd was great, everyone was singin and dancin and there was no problems...
i think it was in the fourth song Nosebleed when they added cover of Gorillaz Clint Eastwood at the end of the song....
with every tune, they sounded better and louder, it was awesome...the eight song was
Cure's If Only tonight we could sleep...soon after that song Chino got off the stage and came to us,
climbed on our fence and standed on it singin over the crowd :D he was standin on my shirt and i was
holdin him with one hand and with another pullin the photo from my pocket ...i made two shots but i
almost broke my hand doin it :D but it was worth....after 15 songs they went off the stage..but they got
back really soon and did three more...first one was Change, then Root and the final song was 7 words...
.they did 18 songs all together...the concert lasted for little less than two hours and it was really great...
they threw some pics and sticks before they left the stage and i luckily got one pick ... that was my first
Deftones concert and it got on the top of my concert list!
