june 30, 2001, deftones play waldrock festival in bergum, holland
CHINO RUINS SHOW FOR FANS BECAUSE HE WAS TOO DRUNK TO PERFORM!!
yesterday was a very very disapointing day from me. i'm a deftonesfan for
years and have seen them live 9 times in holland. deftones would headline a
metal festival in holland called waldrock. before them played biohazard and
before them suicidal tendencies. when showtime arrived the announcer tells
the crowd that because of circumstances the show will be delayed for a
couple of minutes. after ten minutes chino comes onstage guided by a
deftones crewmember. i was standing middle in front cause i wanted to make
some pics for my website. i could see from chino's eye's this was not
good...he could not even stand on his feet normal! they started with headup
and chino smacks his mic round and round like in a way i never saw him do
that. it came accross very agressive! a moment later he jumps from the very
high stage and lies on the ground surrounded by securitymenbers and he sings
along. he finally had to be helped up buy the deftonestourmanager and he
comes to the crowd. well i will keep it short what happend during the 9 SONG
SET (!!). He drops his pants AND UNDERPANTS and stands with his dick between
his legs asking all the girls to show their pussies!! He comes down in the
already dissapointed crowd who starts throwing beer and sand...he keeps on
'singing' and talking. Chino fucks up the songs by talking during the breaks
and the band waits him to finally go back into the song again. he even talks
bad abot fred durst for a moment which i think he should'nt do cuz he can't
even put dwon a good show himself!! also mike from suicidal tendencies joins
deftones to play a ST song called subliminal. i could see from mike's face:
what the fuck is happening here. they whole crowd was yelling fuck you even
deftonesfans!! during bored chino says that he's gonna quit and the band
leaves the stage. i don't know what to feel at that point. i feel so worse
now and with me a lot of other fans.

i can believe that you think why the hell does he tell me that but i know
Nuno from deftonesworld knows i'm telling the truth. i can imagine that you
as deftonesfans don't even believe me cuz what happened here is so
non-deftones!!!!!
