Before i begin here is the setlist ,digital bath and korea might be in the
wrong spot.

Being the 3rd time ive seen them , I say this was my favourite. Thats cause
it was no ordinary show.
First of all im not from Switzerland, im from Sydney,Australia, So to see
them while im travelling the world was an awesome way to end the trip... and
secondly , while waiting inside the venue at the barrier infront of the
stage there was this guy,who i guess was with thier crew,giving out passes
,stickers that said - "Deftones -25th September Winterthur Switzerland - No
backstage ! "
and with these little goodies which i was lucky enough to be given one,
allowed the bearer to cross over the barrier and be right up against the
stage ! The whole concert i was leaning on the stage ,with Chino inches from
me at times,and dodging chi's sweat as he headbanged.
After perfect circle finshed thier set, the people with the passes were
allowed to go up to the stage ,with only about 30 of us ,there was plenty of
room. So as the deftones came out the crowd -in thier thousands-went crazy
as usual ,chino came out ,in a green knitted sweater and brown dickes ,with
guitar in hand,and started a beautiful intro into minverva which lasted
about a minute before the rest of the band came in,yes thats right chino
also played guitar in Minerva.
Then Bloody cape ,plenty of screams from Moreno,then BQAD my fav song -with
chino unleashing the last scream of the song about 2 inches from my face -
ill remember that forever thankyou !.
Mx came next ,it was in this song that i noticed the way chino was acting -
he was absolutley off his head on something - i dont know what - which isnt
unusual as you all know ,but he was making eratic,sick movements ,like he
would spit ,then wave goodbye to the spit as it was in the air with a
disturbing grin on his face ,then completely change his expression and pat
the air near his knee ,as if he was patting an invisible dog next to him
,then he would try and walk and stop with his eyes closed as if he'd come to
an unexpected invisible wall...it was really fun and weird at the same time
to watch....guess you had to be there...
Korea was god damm fucking mad ,during the bridge ,where its just stef
playing ,chino ran up to Abe and they touched fists together,it looked
fucking cool, then Chino told the crowd to jump on 1,2,3, 4 ! everyone did
,including Chi who was admired at the same time by chino with a smirk on his
face at Chi's jumping.Then the set rolled out as above ,Stefs intro into
Bored went for about 2 minutes before Moreno came in,and during the
breakdown bridge bit ,where it gets slower, Chino was singing some song i
dont know the name of but heres the lyrics - I got sunshine in a bag im
useless but not for long the futures going wrong....i know the song but cant
think of the name... then mascara which was so amazing.
The intro to hexagram was cheered on by Chino who motioned to the crowd to
come towards him. Alot of the times chino was behind me ,leaning over the
barrier to the rest of the crowd, which you all know is his trademark
performance.
He also sung a bit of 50 cent - in da club by himself during the break
inbetween some song. After head up they went off stage but stef stayed on
,then they came out,chino with a guitar and started changes which was
brilliant again...then their last song seven words,which yes included the
weezer cover say it aint so during the break bit defore he says squeal like
a pig....then they said their thanks ,abe threw out a few drum sticks ,as
did chino by grabbing one off abe, chi threw away a few beers,i already had
some as he was giving them to me and the guys around me during the set ,the
lights came on ,i walked outside the hall and around the back and met Frank
and Stef. All in all , the best deftones experiance i probably will ever
