Deftones the 28. of june on the orange stage at the Roskilde festival 2001
The show started when two guys had to present the Deftones, it went pretty well
untill Chino came on stage and started banging the mic against the monitor.. The
two guys didn't know what to do and they left the stage. Then Abe, Stef and chi
walked on.. What the crowd didn't know was : the rhytm Chino was banging was the
start of Heap-up, so they started with head-up, and the show really was on! After
head-up, Chino was telling a story from last time deftones played at roskilde, i didn't
get much of what he was talking about!!! In the middle of the show Maynard Keenan from
tool came on stage and sang passenger with Chino that was great! The whole show was great,
especially because it was my first deftones show, they dont come to denmark that often you
know! At the end they played engine no. 9, and halfway throug the song Chino went out in the
crowd.. And the crowd went cracy! It was a really good concert and i am looking forward to see
them again one time!
