It was the worst Deftones show I've seen, however, it still rocked! Glad they played Rats!... I like smaller venues. Right before they came onto the stage I did some speedball (first time) in the WaMu bathroom. As I walked about, I pushed my way to the front - I guess that was pretty rad. After the show I used my con-artist skills to get back stage. Stopped and chatted with Stef for a moment while he skated through the RV area, I ran into Stef like 5 times. He was as nice as he could be... I would be an asshole traveling that long and hard... Frank was just cool, very nice, I completed him on the show and he really gave me a thanks. I only said the show sucked because I was in Sacto last year for the free show at Ceasar C. park. Now that was a Deftones show!

this was my second time seeing the deftones live. it was a pretty good show. fall of troy was okay. dir en grey sucked. the most retarded thing about it was that alot of people were only there to see dir en grey and left right before the deftones were to come on. chino looked really good and he was having a good time. the visual stuff was pretty useless and boring. i wanna watch the band not visuals of slutty women. after they played 'around the fur' they went straight into 'rickets' which was awesome! i was disappointed that they didn't play 'bloody cape.' that was one of the songs i really wanted to hear that nite. the crowd went nuts when they did 'back to school.' the lead singer of fall of troy came out and did 'say it ain't so.' at the end of the set stephen took pictures of the crowd. stephen rocks!! DEFTONES RULE!! deftones need to come back to seattle really really soon.

and here's the correct setlist:

Well I to saw the mighty tones in Portland both nights and went back to the washington stomping grounds to check them out for a solid 3 in a row. Two words. Fucking awesome. Yeah I would like to hear this and that but come on bottom line Frank Chino Abe Steph and Chi all kicked major ass. I have seen these guys too many times to count and never have they let me down. Ever. To say Chino should put down the guitar is a stretch. To say they should have the fans pick the set list every night is fauked. Remember they are the machine and they have every god damn right to pick the fuel that rocks the hut. Most impressed with how night after night they come to the ring and get it on. No holds barred. Mucho respect always for the best band in the world, hope they have as much fun as I do. By the way to the females in the crowd god bless you. You made the crappy venue shine like the fourth of july. Peace JFK

This was my 3rd Deftones show in 3 days,
and the set list was a little bland, as opposed to Portland's 2 shows where they mixed things up a little. I wish Chino would put down the guitar and just sing.. I guess its cool for a song or 2, but 5 or 6 songs of him playing... And they need to never tour with a band like Dir En Grey ever again. It brings the 'tones down a level with all the 14 year old emo girls with hot topic boots and Michael Jackson style masks with fake blood on them. And the lead singer cutting open his mouth and bleeding all over himself... Shit, just sing and stop the bull shit.

Here is a rough set list.. I may be leaving out a few and the order is not accurate.

My Own Summer
Lhabia
Be Quiet and Drive
Hole in the Earth
Bored
Rats Rats Rats
Around the fur
Beware
Rickets
Root
Cherry Waves
Passenger
Korea
7 Words(first half)
Say It Ain't So (w/Thomas from Fall of Troy on guitar)
7 words (second half)
Back to School
Minerva
Headup

Alright well first off i want to say that deftones are my fav band and this was my 15th time seeing them and been following them since 97. I am going to have to say that this was the most boring deftones show i have ever been too. They didnt play anything rare, unless you want to call lhabia and rickets, but they have been playing that everynight. The first 6 or 7 songs most people were standing there, a little movement up front. I literally saw 20 different people yawning during there set. I dont want people to think that i am just ripping on them, I just think they are gettin into a rut and need to change things up with there set list...Chino lay the guitar down, and just keep your mic in your hand. I would like to them to go one night without playing change and digital bath. Total lost of interest from what i was seeing. They should do a whole tour of people letting them write thier setlists. Thanks

WOW!!! That was by far- the greatest thing ever- last night. I've seen the Deftones live 4 times, and this was bar far the most amazing- they played for almost an hour and 45 minutes and they went through all the classics.

I tried to keep up with the set list so I could write it down- but I didnt get all of it- here is my best attempt:

My Own Summer
Lhabia
Drive
Hole in the Earth
Rats, Rats, Rats
Bored
(I kinda got lost in the middle- I know they played like 3 in a row from the 1st album- and then went back to SNW)
Beware
(At one point the jumped into White Pony)
Knife Party
Korea -(that might have been later)
Passenger

Root
7 Words
Change
Back in School
Cover of Weezer's Say it So
Minerva

(the order on some of this is off- but anyhow- it ws amazing- the didnt dissapoint at all- thank you Chino and Crew!)
