CONCERT REVIEWS

Did anybody else notice in between one of the songs Chi said "Im the best lookin motherfucker in here"--from The Chapelle Show RicK James Skit...that was funny
by digitalwaves @ 13 June 2007
First time seeing them and it was an amazing experience. The venue was small which made it a better experience imo. It was really hot in there. At one point Chino rapped "it's hot cause it's hot" to the tune of this is why i'm hot. By the end of the concert all the band members were wearing wet towels on their heads it seemed. Stephan and Chi took turns throwing buckets of water into the crowd and laughing while doing so. It seemed like the band was having an awesome time. The setlist was sweet, but it would have been nice to have some songs off the self titled album.

again, i forgot to mention something. during "passenger" Chino kneeled on stage in front of me and sang to me while pointing at me!!! ahh! amazing. and i LOVED how small the venus was. and thank God for the guards who kept dousing us in front with water. Stef came out once with a bucket of water and tossed it onto the VERY grateful crowd. Chi did it the next time. when i met them, i was totally soaked but its an experience i will NEVER forget. take care guys.

When we talked to Chino after the show we asked em about Minerva and he kinda just gave us this look like they forgot to play it hah...i dont know that album has hexagram, minerva, and bloody cape and none of em were played...nonetheless one of the best shows ive been to period

They need to play more off the self titled album!! That was a great album, so under rated. It is classic Deftones!! You have BattleAxe (awesome riffs to bob your head to) WGTB (hard core tones)Deathblow (very emotional and heavy) Come on, the ST album is aka Baby ATF.

This show was moved from the Armory in Albany,NY to Northern Lights--a bar in Clifton Park,NY. Northern Lights was wicked small andthe stage was extremely small as well. Fall Of Troy was alright,I will say that band is talented. Dir En Grey...well I didnt really get them but the crowd seemed to enjoy it.

Deftones played an amazing 2 hour set. Afterwards I got to meet them as well which made it all even better. The setlist was amazing...however they didnt play 1 song off the self titled record and didnt do Say It Aint So.
