This was my first Deftones show. I've been wanting to see them since I first started
listening to them in 98' and they finally came to Maine so I was psyched. I drove like
2 hours from Bangor, and showed up a little late, I wasn't too worried though because
I'm not really into any of the other bands playing. I found it really hard to sit through most
of them, and Thrice's set seemed unusually long. Anyways, the Deftones KICKED ASS!
They were definitly better then I expected them to be after reading some reviews that led
me to believe chino's voice wasn't that great live. I totally dissagree, I thought he sounded
fucking great and the rest of the band was really tight. The setlist is as follows, it seems
they changed up the order from previous shows.

I was very impressed with the setlist. They played a lot of stuff off adrenaline and around the fur.
The pit was absolutely nuts, and at one point Chino actually got in the front of the crowd
(I'm pretty sure it was during Bloody Cape) and was like basically in the crowd grabbing
peoples hands and singing to them. Very very good show, one of the best shows I've ever been to.
Deftones are a fucking amazing live band and anyone who tells you different is lieing!

I too traveled from bangor it was a hike, and i watched as i lay dieing,atreyu,story of the year,
during the final song of thrices set some one yelled out "BRING OUT THE DEFTONES" and the
lead singer of thrice commented "yea i wish i was the deftones" with no hint of sarcaism it was funny ,
every one laughed.
The deftones were amazing the first song they play every one was singing Feticeria
and it echoed almost louder then chino.
then they played nosebleed and at this point i was flippen my cookies, singing and chino noticed me
right off the bat and came down and sang beside me i snapped a couple pictures but i didn't wanna
keep flashen the camera light to the point were it pissed him off.
stef was smoken either a cigarete or a doobie too.
half way through the set a pretty chaotic pit formed, and chino kept swirling his finger in a circle motion
as if instructing the kids what to do, with a big smile he kept saying "all right"
i could tell that chino and stef were haven a good time they kept smiling through the whole set.
THE DEFTONES stole the show from all these new bands that seemed trival once the deftones played.
