Well, this is the 25th time Ive seen them live. Maybe the novelty is wearing
off for me. This setlist was boring and predictable.
Don't get me wrong, they were great. The crowd was really into it and the band
played very well.
In terms of the setlist, there were absolutely no surprises. Deftones came on
around 945 and ended at around 10:50?? What is that? What happened to the 17,18,19
song sets I was used to hearing?
I really wanted to hear the Chauffer, WGTB, Needles and Pins...ANYTHING Ive never
heard live. Hell, I would have settled for something I haven't heard for a LONG TIME.
(Lifter, Boys Republic, Damone, MX, Nosebleed.) Random thoughts:
- The 2 microphone thing on Mascara was awesome. Good way to spice up a slow song.
- Around The Fur was played REALLY slow compared to how Im used to hearing it.
- What happened to Root and 7 Words? They were staples of a live Deftones show in the
past.
- Chino's voice must be past fucked up. He sounded like shit on Carson Daly's show, and
they have him jacked into so much delay and reverb it would make me sound awesome up
there. He didn't even attempt to hit the high notes on Digital Bath, just screamed
because I guess he even knows he can't sing like he used to.
- The crowd kind of died out after Bored was played. They didn't go crazy again until
Headup was played.
-Denali was awesome.
-Poison The Well need to figure out if they are hardcore or emo. Dont mix the two..it
doesn't work for you guys.
- Change SUCKS as a closer.
I just hope the Friday show in Asbury makes up for this bleak night.
Setlist: I hope Im missing one or two, because I REFUSE to believe they played a 14 song set.

It was an emotional night for every deftones fan
there. It was pouring the rain while we were waiting
in line. Denali opened up and it wasnt anything
special but the anticipation for deftones was building
in everyone. *during denali my friend got kicked out
which was one of the worst things that could have ever
happened to this kid* Posion the well came on and that
wasnt anything special either. After poison the well
they unleashed abe's drumset and the hype was
overwhelming.
When the lights dimmed the band came out, and chino
follwed last. The played like a little intro and then
went into minerva.
Set List 11/19 (Its pretty close to the right order if
remember correctly)

I hoped to hear a secret song like boys republic or
The Chauffeur but it didnt happen. I also wanted to
hear 7 words or root or minus blindfold but that let
me down as well. It was still out of this world
though. At one point in the show chino said "something
smells good" reffering to all the pot that was being
smoked, he also said "pass the duche" and i think in
return he got a cig because he said something about a
cig. NO ELITE OR WGTB either which upset me a little.
It was great either way. Also it seemed like they
played all the songs really slow. Thats it. GO SEE
DEFTONES LIVE IF YOU DONT YOUR A PUSSY.

Oh god, I wouldn't know how to describe las nights
show. The DEFTONES were fuckin' amazing!!!
First off, I didn't pay any attention to Denali, and
most of the probably didn't either.
POISON THE WELL's set wasn't as good as the one they
did on the TAKE ACTION Tour, I think it was because
most, if not all, of the people had the hype of seeing
the DEFTONES.
NOW when the DEFTONES came out, the people went wild,
(I don't know if anybody is into soccer, but it was
like if a team scored a golden goal in the World Cup
final), we all went wild. I couldn't believe that I
was actually watching such a band, last night we all
saw them as gods. You would look next to you to
whoever was there and they would nod their head and
give you a thumbs up. It was fucking amazing, it was
like a whirlpool at the venue, I only saw my friends
once in a while cause everybody would get lost in the
mix.
Well I do not remember their set list, but all I can
say is this: when they were playing HEADUP, Jeffrey
Moreira from PTW came out, to do Max Cavalera's part,
it was overwhelming, the people got even wilder and
pit was amazing.
Thankyou DEFTONES for such a kick ass show, now I
could die happily.

OMG is what i said right after the show. It was amazing, the deftones put up a great show.
The whole time i was excited. THey put up so much energy for us and they did the best
they can and it was just amazing!!! I would love to see them live everyday of my life
after they played like gods. The opening bands like Denali, wasnt that good, and poison
the well just to much screaming.
