I'll only accept reviews from recent shows!
They still have it.
It's been awhile since I've last seen the deftones play a live show, and I was
little worried that the 'tones might have lost some of their bite recording their new album.
I couldn't have been farther from the truth. Deftones tore through the setlist like that had
something to prove - not just to us, but also to themselves. Every song sounded exactly
like it should live - brutal yet erotic at the same time. Other reviews of previous dates of this
tour had reports of sound problems, but for the most part, the deftones sounded crystal
clear last night. All in all, it was a solid performance from the whole band. RX queen was
intresting w/ the Street Drum Corps adding their own chaos to the mix, but it worked.
I was surprised just how well that song sounded live.
