After Revolution Smile which started already 7 o'clock (not as annouced
on the ticket 8pm) and A Perfect Circle, the Deftones started their
awesome show. They started with Minerva, Steph and Chino stood side by side
and were illuminated by a red light, that was very impressive. Chino wore
short trousers and socks with red, green and white stripes he pulled nearly
to his knees. It looked funny. Chino uses now two microphones at certain songs,
the regular one and one mic with special effects. There was an little box or
something he adjusted his mic. Sometimes he was a little bit overcharged with
two mics because he dropped often one. At Headup he went to Abe, catched to
drum sticks and beated the drum for the beginning of the song. This was the
fourth time I saw the Deftones, and for me it was the best show. Greetings
to the crazy Italians behind me, especially to the drunken one with dreads!
