Well, what a show...There was around 5500 people. There were Thursday and
Trice but I didn't know their music, it was quite good. When Deftones came,
it was almost awesome. The sound wasn't that good, well, we couldn't hear
Chino nor Chi as good as we wanted. 17 songs in all. Chino seemed tired, he
was lying around, he didn't put out the best performance. Though it was our
only chance of seeing them [well, second because of Sanitarium Tour], it
wasn't the best show I've ever seen. After the show, we went outside in the
back of the building to see if we could have a chance of seeing Deftones.
Unfortunaltly, guys were partying inside and they were only coming out in
3h. BUT, Chi came out to talk to his fan for a little while [he was a bit
drunk already]. I was able to have an othograph and chake his hand, while
others lucky got a picture with him.

WoW! What an amazing show that was! It went by so fast but it was really good! I'm
really bummed it's over, but this is what happened...
Doors opened at 6 but i got there at 5:40, had to wait outside in the cold. we get
inside looking for coat check, but there isn;t any, apparently, i was upset about that,
since i had to drag my coat along...
Thursday came on, and i was pretty much in front, like second row. they put on a great
show, just very short. Jeff the lead singer came into the crowd and i got to touch is back!
Thrice was next. i didnt know too much about this band before, but i really liked what i
heard, i will definately check out their music!
after those 2 bands finished, i noticed alot of diiferent peple came in the crowd.
My friend and I were now right in front, against the barcades. Deftones came on, the crowd
was crazy. chino looked good, looks like he lost some weight. He was wearing the same outfit
throughtout the tour.
I had such a good view of Chino. During the song Korea he came right into the crowd right in
front of me. i was so excited, i got to touch his leg and foot. how cool, is that? i was so
happy...his shorts were all the way down, and everyone saw his white boxers! before the deftones
came on, the security guards where pulling out all the girls from the crowd and putting them
in their own section. at first my friend and I were pissed they werent picking us, but we
realized that we had the better place, since the stage was right at eye level for them.
I was proud of myself that my friend and I were the only 2 girls in the very front of the pit
who survived.
I screamed so much, and sang to all the songs. it was my first time seeeing the deftones
( one of my fav bands) i really enjoyed it! they sounded awesome live. I was disappointed
they didn't play knife party or boy's republic.
Yeah i'm really sore from the concert though. My neck hurts from headbanging. My back from
all the pushing and shoving. i have bruises on my arms and knees, but it was worth it for
the deftones!

ok, just got back from deftones toronto show and i can't hear a goddamn thing (always a
sign of a good gig).
the two support acts were suprisingly good, Thursday weren't great but definatley not bad
either, and Thrice (who i'd never heard of) played only 5 or 6 songs but did a great job.
i've seen deftones play better shows than this one but it was still deftones, never a live
act to be taken lightly. the setlist featured a couple of nice suprises, Elite is a powerhouse
of a song that was great to hear because they don't often play it, and Needles And Pins was
definatley unexpected. i could be wrong but i dont think they've played n&p on any other show
this tour thus far. MX went off, good to see them throwing in an older and less-known song.
in the middle of My Own Summer chino turned around and told the rest of the band to stop
playing because there was a big section of crowd collapsed and people strugling to get back
up. he said something along the lines of "guys help eachother out. and if you really feel
the need to crowd-surf then be careful who's head you're kicking. i don't like getting kicked
in the head and i know you guys don't either" after the pit sorted itself out they picked up
at exactly the same point that they had stopped at, very professional and very responsible on
chino's behalf.
they played a song i wasn't familar with and didn't sound like their own, i think it was The
Chauffer. They also did Weezer's Say It Aint So in the middle of 7words, which had everybody
laughing/singing along

as i said, it wasn't one of their better shows, partly due to the venue being shitty and as
a result the sound quality not being too hot, but if you're thinking about seeing them, do it.

it was fucking great !! it was my firts time seeing them and I was just amazed by
their energy . here 's what they played in almost correct order:

fIVE O'CLOCK CAME AND WORK WAS DONE! it was time to meet up with hardcore
headbanger friends and get "High" with Deftones . The Show started with
Thursday which is really no surprise live , the sound was shitty for some
reason , some people seem to like it but for myself... 5 guys with tigh
pants playing easy riffs is not my thing but it gave us time to smoke up and
drink a bit while laughing at the singer... that did one funny thing when he
was rocking in is own way he wanted to jump on the bass drum to look cool
but he just ran and gently put is foot on the bass drum and when back up
front like if nothing happen ( that look gay).
Then Thrice came , Thrice were better at lest they play reasonnable riffs
and they don't wear tight pants ( just kidding... you tigh pants lovers!)
the sound suck as well I don't know why but it sounded like if you listen to
the band trough a glass , but the energie went up anyway and everyone was
ensious for Deftones! .
Then the Deftones arrive on stage ,the sound for them was perfect!! and the
way they start the show was so cool : they start with a intro that I have
never heard ( probably only live) it was like the begining of Pink magit and
then they kick in with Minerva , the flow it got and the effect it did I
will never forget ( to describe the undescribedible if was like acid) they
play a good Hard rock metal show whatever you call it I wish I could tell
you the set list but I was kind of High on Deftones, well they play to have
and to hold which was hawsom of them then they play all the classic , all
the songs I wanted to hear excep Lifter (I wish I hear Lifter live one
day!!) and the close with 7 words in which they cut the ending and started
to play say it aint so of Weezer , That was so Nice!!! And at the end steph
was going to do the solo and stop they chi went : "come on do a solo just
for our own entertermaint of all" and steph choke !!!( but I know why he
don't like solo he hate them read interview of steph you'l see!!) and they
finnish by the end of 7 words(sqeal like a pigment..you..m..) !!
That was so much better then the other show that Deftones did in 2000 in
Montreal, that time chino was fuck up on drugs or something and fell on is
ass during a song to get up after a sentence and he screw alot of song, so
we can say they pay us back for that one!!!
