I've been a Deftones fan for about 10 years now and have seen them over 15 times in cities
like Toronto, Buffalo, Detroit, Cleveland etc.. Last nights show in Toronto, (actually Mississauga, Ont)
was about average. The sound was typical of the International Centre - Arrow Hall, meaning echoy and
too much bass. Thursday cancelled so we only saw a few bands like Thrice and Street Drum Corps.
They weren't anything special, and the crowd didn't seem to impressed. Deftones came on around
9:45pm and played just over an hour. They played decently although Chino's crowd interaction
consisted of a few thank yous and alot of mic throwing. They looked tired and the only other thing
Chino said is, "this is knife party." The setlist might not be exactly in order, but I am sure they played
all the songs I listed. Overall a decent performance, but definately not anything great.
