I have now seen the tones to many times to remember and I was seriously debating not going this time
around to see the same old song and dance. (I guess you get spoiled with live bootlegs to really appreciate
the surprise of seeing a band live). However, I was very happy that I did see the show for the fact that they
played one of their earliest demo songs from the pre-signing days called "Like Linus." It was Linus' B-day last
night and as a tribute they played the early demo song in his honor. Classic moment in Tones concert history
and well worth the price of admission. The set list is similar to all the other shows that they have been playing,
however the new song they played was different from the bootlegged song out their from the San Diego show.
They did the "Like Linus" song during the middle of the 7words breakdown at the end.

I just want to start by saying that I got the flu on Monday night and by Wednesday I still wasn't much better,
but I was going to this show. I got there around 7pm and saw Story of the Year finish there set and they were
pretty good. Atreyu and Thrice were better then I expected, but by the end of Thrice's set, the energy was down
and people were ready for the Deftones.
The Deftones came on at 10pm and the place went crazy. I stayed up front for the first three songs, but then
I was just too sick and got too hot and ended up towards the middle of the pack. This was my 6th Deftones show
and only the 2nd time I wasn't up front for the whole show. They had a lot of energy and put on a great show and
they seemed to be having a lot of fun together as a band and even gave Donk a cake for his 30th birthday.
My friend who had never seen the Deftones before grabbed Chino's hand during Hexagram and said they made a
new fan that night. Great show and they played 13 songs in about an hour. Not in exact order:
