Here's My Review of The Jones Beach Show: I saw the Deftones/Godsmack show at the Jones Beach Theater on September 1st and was very satisfied. This was my first deftones show I've ever seen and, my lord, will definetly not be my last. I got to the theater at about 7:00 and Puddle of Mudd had already started to play. I don't think they could of ripped off Nirvana or Alice in Chains anymore (And I thought Godsmack was a rip of AIC). They fucking sucked. After they left (thank god), It only took about 10 minutes for the Deftones to be set up and start playing, so that was cool. They had this really weird intro thing while Chino was doing this spooky melodic singing. Then he did his high pitched scream and they went right into "Root". Doing all the classics and the now popular "Clint Eastwood" cover, it was a great show. The best song they did that night was probably "Mascara" or "Digital Bath". No low points, except to all the damn Godsmack posers who told Chino to "Pull up your fucking pants you fat bastard" or the whole band to "Get off the fucking stage". Assholes. I nearly turned around and punched a 11 year old kid cause he said the Deftones "Sucked". Either way, it was a good show, It would'a been better minus the dumbass Godsmack fans, the No-Mosh rule and if they played a Weezer cover like they usually do. And for all of you fans who have yet to see this tour, definetly check out From Zero, I can see a bright future for this band. And they were cool enough to sign a few autographs for me and my friend but they also accepted a demo from my band (cough cough http://www.falsedawn.8m.com cough cough). Anyway, Here's the D`tones set list in order: -Root -My Own Summer -BQAD -Feiticeria -Change (ITHOF) -Korea -Mascara -Around The Fur -Digital Bath -Bored (with "Clint Eastwood") -Lifter -7 Words - - - - - - -Head Up by Timmy K
