The first painting was this one. I just put it down on the stairs to see if things were ok. And things were really ok. 
    Everyone call this place  "Weed Stairs". You know why. lots of weed, dope beer and crazy people, I just hope that no one vomit or urinate on my drawings, it would be an insult to me, it's the same if someone spits on my face or something like that.

 I think that these are the bigger words, from all that I've wrote, this is a calm place near a tunnel where I really got the time to make it so big and clean, one day I've made the letters and 2 weeks later I've painted the defstars, and the meaning. Deftones means life!!! The best way to explain what I feel about all this "deftones" thing. 
    Once again I thank the band for everything they've made so far because they've been a support to my personality and self-esteem, they are the hand that comforts me when I need it more, they are. fuck it! They are the best, they are everything! Sometimes I imagine if some day any member of the band will do some shit like Kurt Cobain did. please guys don't leave us alone. If the band stop playing or something else. I don't know what to do, but I think that I will reconsider my existence in this world.

   This is a simple work of art but fuckin' dangerous too, why? Because the local police squad is on top of the drawing, this is a dangerous place, cops and patrol cars are everywhere, that's the reason of this message -"shove it"- I mean them, the cops! 

    If you look closer you can see a white strip on the left side of the defstar, that happened because a friend of mine told me that the drawing looked better if I made a frame along the drawing, I said no! Then he grabbed my spray can and started to do a line, but somehow the spray ended and all my work was ruined and at that moment I promised myself to get back there and paint the strip that my friend made. And so I did, that's why you see a whiter line on the left side of the defstar.

    One beautiful white wall and another drawing. The police squad that I mentioned above is right in front of this one, if some cop left the squad at the time that I was making this, he could arrest me or shoot me (if he got the balls). 

    By now everyone in my city should be thinking "What's that? Deftones?" Probably they are thinking that it is a new politic union or publicity to a new shampoo or condoms. They don't know a fuck! They are just a bunch of hypocrites and ignorant, financially dependent and careless people.

    On "Weed Stairs" again, this time the name Deftones is not present, but if you know Deftones you know what that means. That's the final scream that Chino gives on "Birthmark" that's track nº8 from "Adrenaline", personally my favorite song "In Spite" a revolted meaning, a pissed-off position, on this song Chino talks about truly things that happened to me, every time I hear it looks like I'm seeing my life in a movie. 

    A few people know the meaning of this drawing and probably they don't associate it to the ones that some crazy guy made, where Deftones is written.  

    I needed to put Deftones here! This wall is so fucked up! Everybody wrote their names and shits here and I thought that I deserve to put Deftones here - respect! 


    This is located downtown where young people use to hang out. Now no one gives a damm but one year from now or so, everybody will venerate it. The same happened with Korn, a year ago no one gave a fuck about Korn, now everybody likes Korn and write it on every fuckin' place.

    A bad ass painting, this wall looks like been painted yesterday or so. But I gave it a little happiness and color. It's on a High School, the reason? No special reason, that's a place where hundreds of people pass by everyday. When I was about to write "DEFTONES" I've heard steps and a dog... I got scared and I leave the drawing as you see it.


    They must be thinking that the defstar is a nazi cross or a jewish symbol, but as I said, someday they'll know its meaning, for me it means happiness, freedom.and life.  

    This drawing has some good hip-hop graffiti on its side, well framed! After I made this one I've moved ten steps left and write another one with my own calligraphy, I've wrote "DEFTONES" when I was ending the last "S" I've heard some steps, I looked left and. surprise, two cops; one thin and tall, the other smaller and fat. After I looked them I start to walk on the opposite direction, and then one said "Hey, boy we just wanna talk, wait." Wanna talk? Fuck. I started to runaway so quickly,  I never run so fast in my all life, I climbed the "Weed Stairs" in 20 seconds or so, in a normal walk you take 4 or 5minutes to climb it. I reached the top then I looked back and I saw one of them, the fatter, down on the floor and the other one helping him. I thought God I'm screwed I killed a cop! Because I thought that he slipped on my tape ribbons that where on the floor, I used it to stick the paper on the wall to make my drawings. I grab my car keys and another surprise; some asshole parked so badly his car that mines was stuck in the middle. I took one minute or so to make the maneuver, and until now I don't know if the cops saw my plate number or even if the fat one stills alive! The other day I was to get in the car and one more surprise my front wheel had lost its lid cover, maybe the cops take it as a proof.

    Near to a bar, I've painted these Deftones letters, it's just two steps away from the bar's door, at the time I think the music they were listening was Venga Boys or Britney Spears. some shit like that. 

    Maybe after they see this drawing, every time they walk in and out, they start to hear Deftones. And instead of "love me baby one more time", a Deftones song like "be quiet and drive" could be the one when I went there, it's more romantic and it's all about love, and for easy listeners like them is the best way to start listening Deftones.

    Another school, same thing but in this one I've lost a couple of seconds on writing "deftones" this seconds could have been fatal.

     I was ready to go, still with the spray can on my right hand and a piece of paper on my left one. and suddenly a cop car appeared on my front only the cop on my side saw me, I take a long look on his eyes and he made the same on mines, but he didn't say a word to his mate. Maybe he's a Deftones secret lover, who knows!? As you see there are some good cops in this world, a few... but understandable. 

   The hardest painting was this one, because this wall is on downtown. It took about 30 minutes, to make. Letter after letter, and always with my eyes on the streets to see if somebody was coming.

    I've made it after the two cops give me a run. I felt so bad, because I wanted to paint more, more and more. And on that day I've wished to make the defstars, but they scared me to shit! The only solution was on this place. In the daytime it's always full of people but it was 1:00pm and nobody was there, so... When I arrived home I looked to my hands and I was scared because they were full of red ink, I thought it was blood.
