wow! this was an amazing show! FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE I MET MY HERO!
it was fukkin incredible, f.y.e. had the greatest deal, pre-order the new deftones cd and get
MEET N GREETS!! and we met them and they were awsome guys, Chino & Chi were drinkin
beers and Abe & Frank had some mixed drinks, and were really really chill! Stephen was awsome!
we chated for a min about the old "ESP/LTD 'Steph-Tones'" adds and it was great! I will put some
pix up SOON!
but anyway, first we saw Deadsy and they were awsome then we met them too!
it was cool. anyone could go and meet them! then we had to sit threw a few bands before Deftones
but it was all good. Dir En Grey was suprisingly REALLY good tho! but then finally the Deftones came
on w/a bang! it was like they turned the whole system up a few notches for them, it was awsome! we
had the cheap tickets, but they were proly the best, the 10$ grass tickets!
so we were purdy far away, but there was like 5 or 6 mosh pits goin on the grass so it was intense! then
ppl started ripping the fresh laid grass up and throwing it, then everyone started doin it! it was insane,
GRASS/DIRT WAR 06'! cheap seats VS richy seats! CHEAP SEATS WIN!!! but as for the 'Tones, they
were amazing, proly the best performance i have seen by them!
Chino was WAAAY WAY WAAAAAAY better then last time(not that he was bad, he jus didnt scream)!
HE FINNALLY SCREAMED!!! it was awsome! the only problem was, Coors Ampitheatre SUXS ASS!!!!
but the grass war was the shit!

kind of a short setlist, but it was awsome!

Sorry this has taken so long, I have been busy. Anyways this was the first time seeing the deftones and
they fuckin rocked the shit out of the Coors amphitheater! Chino sounded so good and looked like he was
having fun. They had the whole place jammin. I was up in the section before the lawn and it turned into a
battlefield. People in the grass were ripping it up and throwing it into the crowd so people in the crowd threw it
back. It was awesome. The deftones played their new song Beware and it sounded great. They also played
Headup and RX Queen. That was awesome. Surprising they did not play anything off their last album. I was
hoping for bloody cape or needles and pins. I wrote down the set list but I don't remember what order. I do know
they opened with Feticiera and ended with 7 words. It was a great night and I cant wait to see them again.
