On March 17, 2006 I went to the Taste of Chaos tour 2. I wish I had know about it earlier or else
I would had gotten floor tickets. I arrived late and paying 2 other people to come with me. 83 dollars.
I couldn't careless how much it was because it was my first concert. I have been listening to Deftones
since I was 8, ever since the Album Adrenaline came out. I was hooked. From that time, I bought
everything that could bring me closer to the band: shirts, albums, posters, and patches. The band
before Deftones sucked so much ass it made me furious to see the Deftones even more. When going
up closer to the stage at the top row, the lights turned off. I could see Chino himself go up to the ramp
to pick up his Microphone. I screamed as loud as I could, hoping he could hear me. Bright lights came
on and I saw everybody: Stef, Abe, Chi, and except for Frank, someone's head was in the way. At the
top of the bleachers, the wooden blancer above I was gripping so hard because I was so happy to see a
live Deftones concert. My first live concert than my CD player.
Other than that, I always listen to Deftones as inspiration. Some songs made me cry and Some songs
made me sing but one song made me faint. Be quiet and Drive is one of my most favorite songs and
Deftones played it. At the end, they went to the next song really quick and I started to feel dizzy. I fell to
the floor. Knocked my head pretty hard. At the end of the show, I was disappointed. Everybody was
leaving. I didn't really have a chance to actually be close to my idols. I had brought there new covered
album 'B-sides and rarities' and there Senior Album self titled. I had brought a sliver sharpie, those albums,
and hoping for a chance to wait through a mager line of punches and kicks to get to see them. But no...
I hope to see another Show, but its going to be to far away of a wait...
I hope to see them again and maybe next time, I will have the opportunity to meet face to face.
Sincerely,
Theodore Leonardo MiChello Dai' Stegner

Hey Deftonians, this was a kick-ass show. one of the best I've seen. I think Chino was well into his
celebration of st. patty's day by the time he came on-he was pretty talkative and his ass crack was
showing from the start.. They opened strong with Feiticeira and got the crowd going. They played all
of the songs they've been playing on the tour with the exception of one I think. I heard a song I didn't
regognize. Like I said, Chino was talking it up with everybody. He said happy st. patty's day to everyone
and then told Chi that he made him a good mixed drink. He asked Chi if it was a Cheng Dynasty mix.
Abe came out wearing a little green hat. Steph came out as usual and just started rockin. Towards the
middle of the set it got a bit boring until Chino stepped it up a ton by coming out into the crowd.
The crowd went wild. It was all good until a crowd surfer fell through the cracks right in front of Chino
and knocked about ten people to the ground. I was one of them and it was pretty scary. We were down
there for at least a minute and people kept coming and we couldn't get up. Finally we all got up somehow
or another and it was all good. They finished up with a great performance of 7 words.
They played for a little over an hour.
