Wow, what a great concert. I heard Hexagram for the first time,
and i think it's a pretty good song. After a song, Chino said
"Lets not talk about Deftones for a minute. Lets talk about SARS."
Then he started panting for about 30 seconds. During some song
(can't remember) they cut into the chorus of Clint Eastwood,
which was pretty cool. They had Darryl from Snapcase come out
and sang with them for about half of Engine No. 9. After BQAD,
the lights came on and everyone thought the show was over and
Deftones just started playing, while debating whether or not
to play 7 Words. They did the first verse of Say It Ain't So,
then Chino just stopped and they started 7 Words.
After the show i got Stephen to sign my White Pony CD,
but i didn't see any of the other guys come out.
It was a really good show and i can't wait to see them again.

I was at the show last night at the Odeon in Cleveland and
it ruled! I have never been to a better concert in all of my
life! They started off the night with Chino running off of
the stage, jumping on to the barrier and singing My Own Summer.
When Abe started off that song everyone knew what it was and
they went off! The Deftones followed up with Hexagram and then
Around the Fur. The Deftones started to play Root and right
when Chi was supposed to start his solo the music stoped.
Chino was like "Chi is the stupidest person in the world.
He would've played the whole song in the wrong tuning if i
wouldn't have told him!" The best songs of the night had to
be Lotion and Teething. After a few crowd-surfing journies,
I made my way back to the very front to see them perform 7 Words.
They stoped in the middle of the song and started playing a
Weezer song! Then, when they started to finish 7 Words,
the crowd went absolutely nuts! Their performance at the
Odeon was simply amazing. If you live near a town that the
Deftones are going to be at, get tickets right now!
You definately wont regret it!

Cleveland:
I'm not going to rehash what was played and what was not.
That's already been covered. I have seen the band many many
times and can say that they were fucking locked on last night.
Thanks for a show guys. Continue to leave it on the stage.

what an amazing show. The crowd was crazy. Even
though they were slow on the new songs, you could
tell the really digged them. The best song of the
night for me was change and 7 words. they covered
two weezer songs and the gorillaz "clint
eastwood" what was funny was half-way through the
show chino asked stephen to make up a song then
everyone joined in. chino mad fun of Chris
cornell. when chi got a cigarette chino called
him slash. they played a heavy adrenaline
setlist. all i got to say is check them out as
soon as you can!!!!!

The night started off with Chino getting on the barrier and Abe pounding out
those first beats of My Own Summer, and the crowd went nuts. After everyone
was warmed up with My Own Summer the show really started. Before they
played Hexagram Chino said "and the crowd goes wild" 2 or 3 times...and then
started into the song. Hexagram was so badass live, great rock music. The
first riff of Feiticeira was a sound for hungry ears, and they just kept
blowing everyone in the crowd away. I was trying to remember the correct
order, but god damn they played too many songs to remember in order. When
they started to play Root everyone was jamming and Chino motioned for
everyone to stop. He was like "Chi is the deafest person in the world, he
would have played that whole song in the wrong tunning..." During Bored they
cut into Clint Eastwood by the Gorrilaz, it was pretty sweet. During Headup
they had Snapcase come onstage and help, it was pretty sweet. I was pretty
happy to hear them play Lotion and BQAD aswell, BQAD is one amazing song.
Teething was a definate highlight of the evening, really had everyone going
off. Minerva was pretty sweet to hear live, same with the other new songs
they played. I hadn't heard them before the show so i am not sure exactly
which ones were played but there were 5 new songs, Minerva and Hexagram, so
I assume Bloody Cape, Battle Axe, and Good Morning Beautiful were the other
3. I just know one of the new ones was heavy and hard as fuck, and i almost
shit my pants after it was over. REALLY GOOD SHIT! They finished with 7
Words and threw Say It Ain't So in the middle like normal. Other songs they
played were Around The Fur, Minus Blindfold, Nosebleed, and Change. This was
my 3rd time seeing them, but first time in a small ass club. It was simply
amazing. There is no possible way i could see them on the Summer Sanitarium
Tour in a huge stadium after seeing the show in the club. Hands down this
show was the best show I have seen since the Back 2 School Tour.
