I'll only accept reviews from recent shows! DEFTONES @ "Memorial Auditorium"
Burlington, VT - U.S.A.

First off, the defones must have felt out of place in northern Vermont, Burlington is
a little hick town. They played in the 'Memorial Auditorium" which is basically a
basketball court. They didn't sound that loud, probably because of how high the ceilings
were. The place was only about half full (maybe because Godsmack was playing
the following night?) The crowd were mostly teenage kids, and were not very energetic or
supportive. I went to the providence
and worcestor shows and the crowd in vt wasn't even comparable, just no energy. Thursday
didn't play for some reason and I
missed Thrice. I easily made my way to the front barricade and they started the show early
at 8:45 (prob because they
wanted to get the hell oughta there) Very predictable set list, with a few extra Adrenaline
songs mixed in and Say It Ain't So
in the middle of 7 words at the end! Chino was making fun of the place, saying they didn't
even sell alcohol there, but
there was popcorn! I feel bad that the deftones had to play there, but it was awesome seeing
them again for a third time in a
week...heres the setlist, i'm sure no one else will review this show...

just got back from the deftones concert in Burlington Vermont at the
memorial auditorium and it was the best concert ive ever been too! first of
all the whole experiece started out amazing... after arriving in burlington
about a 2 hour drive away from where i live me and my buds had some time to
kill. so we walked around the area close to the auditorium. there was a
record store not too far called downtown discs and they had tons of rare
music and it was just cool... but guess who was in the store? chino! yes no
lie chino was walking around looking at all the music and phat shit the
place had so after about 2 minutes of o my gods, i finally walked over and
talked to him. he is a wicked cool guy, i felt kinda weird cause all i had
found was the be quiet and drive single part 1. he even picked up out of my
hand and was like cool. but not too enthused haha anyway so after that whole
experience i didnt care what else happened all i knew was that the seating
was general admission and i was going to get front row and center so when
the doors opened they checked our tickets i ran through everybody and got
the spot right in front center against the baricade. by far i had the best
spot in the whole place! this was the first show in the second leg of the
tour with thursday and thrise, but thursday wasnt there so i didnt have to
sit through 2 bands just one which was cool. thrise was good, alot better
live then the album recording! then the deftones came out, of course they
started with minerva and then busted into hexagram. during hexagram when
chino goes into the crowd he stood on the baricade right in front of me and
i was one of the kids in the crowd to hold his hand up and he almost fell
into the crowd but i helped regain his balance by holding his leg up it was
intense. i remember the rest of the show clearly just not the order of the
songs because i was just in awe the whole nite cause this was the first time
seeing them... i had ticket chances before just work schedules and some sold
out shows happend! they played about 2 hour set and they did change and 7
words with say it aint so in the middle, chino also came into the crowd
right in front of me and i held him up once again during that song it was
crazy! the show was over, we bought our merch and went to our car, since i
got there early i had a phat spot in the back of the place on the street
close to the tour buses so we just stod by our cars for awhile and just
talked about it then we saw chi and screamed his name he looked right at us
and started walking towards us so we ran towards him and talked to him he
could have totally blown us off but didnt, the deftones are totally about
the fans which rocks! chi was wasted though lol. we asked him if he had
played in burlington before he just says "uuuuummmmm, i dont know" lol.
during the concert chi made a comment how vermont and new england has good
weed so we told him we did have good weed in new england. it totally rocked
here are the songs they played just not in order...
