just got back from seeing the deftones for the 11th time live, and i must say it was good.
chino's vocals are back to where they were around the release of white pony. he didn't use the effects
(from what i saw) as he did the last 2or 3 times they have played the atl. i didn't get to check out
much of the other bands (only got to see thrice, me and my friends were getting our drink on in the
parking lot before deftones...no interest in seeing any of the other bands.). thrice had a okay set,
but it made me wish dredg was on this leg of taste of chaos. (no east coast love...) only bad thing
about the deftones set was no new tracks! i was praying for some new tunes, but no luck...
i'm thinking maybe maverick wants to keep that shit on tha D-L, or maybe they just don't have that new shit
down to par yet live... either way that new track they played in san diego is dope. well all i've got to
say is they still can rock that shit like they did when i was in high school!!! (damn i'm old...)
