Deftones blew the place up. The band was tight and Abe was wailing away.
Chino was pretty drunk too. He kept cracking jokes and talking to the other bandmates.
Best part was when he fell during Headup. He and Max Cavalera did a countdown in portugese
and then when he jumped off his ramp he slipped and bonked his head.
I also noticed Chino didn't hit the higher/harder parts in "Beware" or "Hole In The Earth."
All in all, a solid effort.

Stef with cigy-butt lite set it off with extended opening riff into Feiticeira, and quickly we noticed Chino
had slimmed down..I'd guess 10-20 lbs! For all him and the band have gone through, I could understand
the weight gain.He looked energetic, light on his feet, and smiling! Ha-Haah!
I wasn't too surprised by the first few songs, but they rocked hard as ever before, great acoustics and vocals
were clear as day! Headup was off the hook.my vocal cords were toast after this heavy-hizzy! I think it was
the lead into ATF when Chino free-styled a bit from a rap song, using local landmarks.."meet me at the
Camelback Mt...it's goin' down..Ha-Hah..", etc.
After over half of the set, we started wondering if any "self-titled" songs would arise, for I knew at least a couple
from SNW would be coming..a short break after the great single HITE, and they broke into Bloody Cape and
the joint went nuts! The small -to- medium mosh-pit quickly became half of the sold out 1,000 capacity theatre
in downtown Tempe..exhausting us, they were relentless and went right into a extended version of 7 Words
and about killed us, rocked beyond belief.Tuesday into Wed., and still sore all over, damn! See ya next time
