By far the best Deftones show I've seen so far, the atmosphere was real. They opened with Rats!Rats!Rats! And stayed metal as hell for the rest of the show. I honestly think the pit grew for every song they played. Chino really got into the music, joked with Abe a lot, even said thanks to the fans a few times. Later on during Hexagram he got off the stage and got up against the rail of the crowd. I was surprised to see Stef play some keyboard for one of the songs (wish I could remember) Chino had a smoke break while Stephen laid on some nasty feedback, then Chino came back up and said something and smoked his bud, blew into the mike, and pitched what was left. Good opening for Cherry Waves. For the most part, they played a pretty balanced set of all their albums (even Self Tilted). Just all around amazing show, just pissed they didn't do an encore or play "if only tonight we could sleep". Setlist below has all but one song (it wasn't rare or anything, just can't remember). The numbered ones were in that order, the ones w/ out numbers are probably not in the right spot. 1.Rats!Rats!Rats! 2.Digital Bath My Own Summer Be Quiet and Drive Around the Fur Nosebleed Xerces 8. Engine #9 Passenger 11.Bloody Cape 12.Hole in the Earth 13.Root 14.Minus Blindfold 15.Minerva 16.Hexagram --------------Smoke break------------- 17.Cherry Waves 18.Kimdracula 19.Change (In the House of Flies) 19.7 Words If anyone has any recording of tonight, I will pay or trade pictures (just personal shit for the memories) Eric justhumannature@gmail.com
