Just got home from the show and have too much energy to sleep, so I will type and share.
WOW! I will turn thirty on Sunday and received an early birthday present. While I was standing
outside the gates, three hours before the show, I was picked by the local radio station to a
"Meet and Greet" with The Deftones! Are you serious! Every one was just chill and cool with no big egos.
I talked with everyone, got autographs on a white paper plate (all I could find), even one from Juan G!
No Ebay, Juan, I promise!
The show was icing on the cake. As the past reviews have mentioned, the enery and togetherness of
the band is better than ever. Chino messed around and joked with Chi and Steph and they all looked
like they were having fun. I was so pumped to finally hear "Mein"
live. Chino sang Serj's part. Deftones played seven songs from SNW. Rock on! "Rats! Rats! Rats!" is
an awesome opener with "7 Words" the perfect closer.
Thank You Deftones! Tenth Show, never disappointed!
