This was the second deftones-concert I got to see. Immediately when they start playing (MOS)
I noticed that they were in really good shape. All the guys, especially Chino and Chi, were acting
wild on stage; climbing the amplifiers, stage-stairs, etc.
Also the crowd went nuts during the concert. I've never seen/took part in such a huge moshpit at a
Pinkpop-festival. I also got to see Soulfly earlier on the same day, but the crowd wasn't as wild as at the Deftones-gig.
I liked the fact that they played Beware the Water, a really great song. I saw a few people singing the
lyrics; real hardcore deftones-fans like me! As you can see on the setlist above they also played WGTB
(including some extra beats from Frank) as they did at Rock am Ring, etc. One of my favourite songs,
and I wondered myself why they didn't play that song during the tour 3 years ago. It's a fucking kickass live-song!
After they played ATF, Max C. got up the stage and played Head Up along with the Deftones.
The band ended the concert with the famous 7 Words-mix.
The weather was good, the beer was good, the music was awesome. I hope they play as well as this
next Saturday when I will see them in Utrecht, Tivoli.

Yesterday afternoon was really amazing, deftones rocked there asses off!
For weeks i was feeling really exited to see deftones for the second time.
I came out early before David Gray started to play to get a good position in the crowd.
I was standing right in the middle before chino.
After waiting a couple of hours and being fucking nervous they finnaly came up!
They started playing Korea and the crowd was crazy as hell wich I didn't expected.
During Korea I noticed that the sound was real rough at that time but later on it was mutch better.
When they started playing "Beware The Water" chino didn't anounced that this was a new song or just
the name so I saw alot of whired faces but the song is amazing.
After BTW they started playing "Hexagram" and chino came to the crowd and he stood right before me
holding my hand and screaming in my face! This is the second time this happend to me with chino and it was a great moment.
I really liked that they played WGTB, you could hear frank real clearly at that song.
With "headup" Max came out and played with them he was using a guitar too, I never heard sutch a great
live version of "headup" before On the end of the show chino thanked the crowd for being there and respecting they're work.
They're last song was "7 words" as allways and it was crazy as hell and they played "Birthmark" between the parts wich is my favorite song.
