Sadly I came in while the deftones were playing digital bath, so I am not sure what they opened with, but I hope I didn't miss any songs.
The show was amazing. I had just seen them in Philadelphia on Saturday and was blown away, but this show topped that. Seeing the Deftones in a small venue, like the 9:30 club was awesome and something I didn't think I'd get to do again. I did see them this summer on the Family Values tour and was not too impressed but I can't stop seeing this band. They played basically the same playlist as Philadelphia, except Rats!rats!rats! was in the encore instead of the opener. I was glad I didn't miss that, as the song is perfect live. Xerces sounded much better at 9:30 than it did at the electric factory. I was dissapointed they didn't play more off of the self-titled album, I really wanted to hear Needles and Pins and Bloody Cape. THey did as many songs off of adrenaline as SNW, and the crowd loved it. - VAL

This show was simply incredible. I saw Deftones in San Diego a few weeks ago at SOMA, and they were great there too, but SOMA is easily the worst place I have seen a live show. I couldn't wait to see them at 930 Club, the fourth time I have seen them there. Great venue, and the vibe was electric. I brought three friends that had never seen Deftones live before and they were blown away. The best part was that we went straight to the balcony when Deadsy was playing, and Chino was sitting up there, right amongst the crowd watching Deadsy. I had never seen him out in the crowd at a show like that. I said a quick hello to Chino and was surprised he wasn't getting swamped by fans. Here's an incomplete setlist, not in order: Digital Bath Change Beware the Water Hexagram BQAD Kimdracula Hole in the Earth Minerva Around the Fur My Own Summer Passenger Rats Rats Rats (incredible live) Minus Blindfold Nosebleed Engine no. 9 7 Words - Jeff
